What makes Glow in Grace different from other handmade skincare? Every product is built on real cosmetic chemistry, not guesswork. Founder Lakeya Maddox holds three Olay authorized certifications in cosmetic science, covering ingredient interactions, formulation strategy, and product development. That training shapes every batch, from the butters chosen to the way each product is formulated for how skin actually works.

Are your products anhydrous? What does that mean? Yes. Anhydrous means our body butters are made without water. This keeps the formula concentrated, stable, and true to what a body butter is meant to be, rich and effective without needing preservatives designed for water based products.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin? Our formulas are created with intention, using non comedogenic ingredient combinations. That said, everyone's skin is different, so we recommend reviewing the full ingredient list on each product page and doing a small patch test before full use, especially if you have known sensitivities or allergies.

How long do your products last once opened? Because our products are handcrafted in small batches without heavy preservatives, we recommend using body butters and scrubs within three to six months of opening, and storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Soaps can be used until they are gone, just keep them dry between uses to extend their life.

Why does every soap bar look a little different? Every bar is hand cut and hand poured, so slight variations in color, shape, and texture are part of what makes each one an original. No two batches are exactly alike.

Orders and Shipping

How long does it take to process and ship my order? Orders are handmade to order or pulled from small batch inventory, so please allow a short processing time before your order ships. Once shipped, delivery timelines will depend on your location and selected shipping method.

Do you ship outside the United States? Please check our shipping policy page for current shipping zones and rates, as availability may change.

Can I change or cancel my order after it's placed? Since many items are handmade in small batches, please reach out as soon as possible after placing your order if you need to make a change. We will always do our best to accommodate, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered production.

Subscriptions

How does the GLOW subscription box work? Each month, subscribers receive a curated selection of handcrafted items, which may include soaps, body butters, sugar scrubs, or limited edition surprises. It's always a little different, and always made by hand.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription? Yes. You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account. Please see our cancellation policy page for full details.

Can I add extra items to my subscription box? Select add on items, like the GLOW up Box, may be available exclusively to active subscribers. Availability will be noted on the product page.

Ingredients and Safety

Are your products all natural? We use premium, skin loving ingredients chosen with intention, including natural elements like activated charcoal and tea tree. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page so you know exactly what you're putting on your skin.

Do you test on animals? No. Glow in Grace products are handcrafted and never tested on animals.

What should I do if I have a reaction to a product? Please discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider if needed. We encourage a patch test before regular use of any new product, and welcome you to reach out to us directly with any concerns.
